Our Immigration Department advises our criminal defense attorneys and strategizes with clients to avoid negative immigration consequences of contact with the criminal legal system. Our noncitizen clients receive expert legal services from criminal and immigration attorneys to keep them safe from deportation or eligible for relief from deportation in front of an Immigration Judge.

Queens Defenders’ Immigration Attorneys represent clients before the Immigration Courts and the Board of Immigration Appeals.

We file affirmative applications for our clients to secure immigration benefits, including applications for DACA, U visas, naturalization, and adjustment of status.

Through our Jamaica and Far Rockaway centers, Queens Defenders engages in immigration community education efforts to provide resources and information throughout Queens.
